Shelby is a Master’s student in The University of Alabama Department of Geography and the Environment. She graduated in May of 2024 with her Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science from UA while in the Accelerated Master’s Program. Her research focuses on using tree ring growth patterns as proxies for extreme hydrologic events prior to instrumental records.
