Kane is a first year master’s student in the Department of Civil, Construction, and Environmental Engineering at The University of Alabama and is from Katy, Texas. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in environmental engineering from UA, where he also worked in Dr. Leigh Terry’s Water Research Group and obtained a minor in studio art. Kane has completed internships at the National Park Service’s National Mall and Memorial Parks, as well as Texas Land Engineers, Inc. His research interests include PFAS, hydrology, and environmental systems.
