AJ Wood graduated from high school in Montgomery, AL, and went on to major in environmental science for her undergraduate degree. She discovered a passion for water sciences through personal experiences and internships, including work with the Black Warrior Riverkeepers and the National Water Center. She aspires to become a hydrologist who improves the management and prediction systems that govern waterways across the United States.
