Grace Peart earned her Bachelor of Science in geography and environmental resources from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale in 2025. She is now pursuing a Master of Science in geography at UA. During her undergraduate studies, Grace assisted graduate student research in the plant pathology and sedimentology laboratories. She is now studying dendrochronology under Dr. Matthew Therrell. Grace is passionate about understanding interactions between regional flora and climate fluctuations, and is eager to expand her knowledge through the Water-R20 Traineeship.
