Reza Saleh Alipour is a doctoral student in Civil, Construction and Environmental Engineering at the University of Alabama. Reza studies flood modeling and inundation mapping approaches in data-scarce areas for flood warning and early action purposes. This work is being applied in applications in the United States and Pakistan for developing flood forecasting and management applications. He will contribute ideas and capability for working with hydroclimate data, flood models, and inundation mapping techniques and guiding risk management decision-making.
